To -------

Letters that I never wrote
are running through my head
Words that I havenít spoke
are too precious to leave unsaid.

The feelings that I feel for you
are haunting all my thoughts but then
why should a fresh young Filly
Stay with a tired old horse.

You have been on my mind
for lo these past few weeks
and the silence you refuse to break
has torn apart my heart.

Cyrille you have done it again. This is so sad, yet so beautiful. Touches the heart with such simplistic honesty. I love it my friend. Write on...

Thank you so much Debs. I was thinking no one cared to answer this---- even a comment to the contrary would have been acceptable. As it would have shown that someone took the time to read this.
I have been having a "dry patch" lately can't really come up with any fresh ideas.

Robert...you sound a little down my friend. We all have our "off times" but usually pull through in short order. Chin up and have faith, mon ami. Things will get better. I'm sure folks will respond when they get a chance. Mayhap their lives are a bit chaotic or busy right now. I know mine is. Rolling Eyes I do try to stop in and at least read a few works, though I don't always have the time to respond properly, and I don't feel it's right to leave a post that doesn't cover what I want to say. The times that I've done that, I feel I have "cheated" not only the work, but the author as well. I do humbly apologize for not getting to everything as it's posted, but I do try to catch up as soon as I get a chance...at least on the most recent works.

(Now, I must confess a secret...I'm kind of glad for the slow downs. It gives me a better chance to catch up on the works I've missed.) Laughing

Take advantage of the slowdown. Refresh and recoup your mental abilities by NOT trying to force the issue. Take it from one who knows...that never works. Rolling Eyes In the meantime...read. It may just spark an idea that you can jot down and work on after you've had a good rest.

Peaceful thoughts, soothing music and tranquil surroundings are a good way to unwind. Just don't stress out if you can't come up with anything right away. Been there, done that. Got me nowhere. Wink

Flash-back to the 60's...mellow out man! Laughing
Deb out. aiwebs_011

The Sixties!!!! No dear friend I'd much rather go back (if I have to) to the fifties--- That was my coming of age decade I was made nine in 1950 and 18 in'59. Yes Debs that was my time to howl!
