I have you a question
As your eyes do shine
I ask these words
Would you be my valentine?

You know this love between us
Will last till the end of time
So I ask you again
Would you be my valentine?

That smile of yours
Says your heart is mine
But I need to hear an answer
Would you be my valentine?

So wrap your arms around me
And whisper those words so fine
Then I'll know the answer to
Would you be my valentine?

Would you be my valentine?
Is the question that needs answered
If you were to say yes
My heart will become a dancer

Say you'll be my valentine
And I'll just as surely be yours
Just sure as the oceans
Splashes upon the shores
